Npower may have been caught using aggressive tactics, but the problem looks wider than thought. The gas and electricity watch say that Npower gets the highest amount of complaints than any other company on their watch. Npower said that they are comply with OFGEM and is also launching its own investigation into these claims.
Granted, they’re trying to do something about these claims, but it is too little too late. People who have felt the Npower salesman’s aggressive and misleading antics have said that they felt “threatened” and at risk by their behaviour. Watchdog says they’ve had 70% more complaints about Npower then any other company and I’d like to know why it’s taken so long for us, the public, to actually find out about Npowers tactics. You would have thought that Watchdog would be first to announce it, but strangely they’ve had bigger news to shout out, apparently.
